Dunwell comes from "done well": the belief that every job deserves care, attention and a finish I can stand behind.

I'm a data analyst and data scientist based in the UK, and I help small online shops make sense of their sales.
Large companies employ analysts to explain why sales moved and what to do next. Most small shops don't, so decisions rely on instinct. Dunwell provides that analysis at a fixed price, in plain English, from a named analyst you can speak to.
You work directly with me, from your brief to the final report. I work with shops worldwide.

Plain English
No jargon. Every chart title says what it shows, and every report explains how each number was worked out.
Honest limits
Every report says what the data proves, what's only a pattern, and what would need testing. I don't promise growth.
Simple when it works
When a simple rule does as well as a complex model, I use the rule, so you can run it yourself.
Fixed prices
You agree the scope and price before you pay. New work is quoted first, never billed by surprise.
Professional tools
SQL, Python and rigorous statistical methods, the same tools used by data teams at larger companies.
Built from code
Reports rebuild from code, so the numbers can be checked and a returning client's analysis can be updated quickly.

Data minimisation
I ask only for the fields the analysis needs. Personally identifiable information (PII), such as names, emails and addresses, isn't needed for most questions, so it stays out.
PII removed before analysis
If an export does include PII, I remove it or replace it with a customer ID (pseudonymisation) before any analysis starts.
Secure storage and deletion
Each client has a private, encrypted folder with two-step sign-in. Files are never sent by email or put into an AI tool without your permission. Your data and working files are deleted within 30 days after the job closes, and your final deliverables stay available to download for 90 days.
A written data agreement
Where I process personal data for you, we sign a data processing agreement that sets out each side's responsibilities under UK GDPR. Details are in the service terms.
